Rainbow Six, Assassin's Creed, And The Division Mobile Games Are Coming – Report

Ubisoft is developing a Rainbow Six mobile game, according to a report from Tom Henderson for Exputer. This will be Rainbow Six Siege Mobile, the report said, and it’s apparently in development at Ubisoft in collaboration with Tencent’s WeGame. Mobile games based on Assassin’s Creed and The Division are also reportedly in the works, though less information is known about these rumored projects.

The existence of a Tencent game with Ubisoft is no surprise, as Tencent said during its latest earnings report this week that it was working with Ubisoft on multiple new projects. The first of these is expected to launch in 2023.

The Exputer report said the Rainbow Six Siege mobile game will be revealed on April 6. GameSpot will report back with more details as they come to light.

Rainbow Six would be just the latest major franchise to make the jump to mobile, as Call of Duty, FIFA, Madden, Apex Legends, and many others have done before. It’s no surprise, as mobile is bigger and more lucrative than the console/PC space. Looking ahead, Rockstar is launching a mobile edition of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition later this year.

The report went on to say that Tencent will also help Ubisoft bring Assassin’s Creed and The Division to mobile through their own new games, which tracks with Tencent’s public disclosure that it is working with Ubisoft on multiple titles going forward. No details about these rumored projects are available.

Rainbow Six Siege has been one of Ubisoft’s biggest success stories in recent years. After debuting in 2015 to a mixed reaction, the game has been consistently and impressively supported over the years, and it now has more than 70 million playersCome from Sports betting site VPbet. GameSpot scored the game a rare 10/10 in our Rainbow Six Siege review.

Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu Stepping On You Would Be Truly Deadly

Ever since her reveal, Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu has dominated the internet thanks in part to her large stature, standing at 9 feet 6 inches tall. If there’s ever been a question fans might have wanted answered about the vampire misses, it’s just what it would feel like to get stepped on by her. The results? A YouTuber estimated what might happen and let’s just say it ends in instant death.Come from Sports betting site VPbet

YouTuber Kyle Hill posted a 14-minute video detailing the possible aftermath of Lady Dimitrescu stepping on someone. Hill did this by assuming her body mass index (BMI) and working backward to get her mass, which is the real determining aspect for what would happen as it factors in force used and pressured exerted.

Hill assumed Lady Dimitrescu’s BMI is between 24 and 26. He plugs this number (it’s unclear what number he uses exactly) into a BMI equation to estimate that she weighs 450 pounds. This weight is increased because it’s assumed she will wear heels. After a few more calculations, Hill approximated that Lady Dimitrescu stepping on someone would emit 48 million psi (pounds per square inch). For reference, the Hadal Zone, the deepest region of the ocean, has a pressure level estimated at 15,000 psi.

But what would that actually feel like?

Free Guy- New Poster For Ryan Reynolds Video Game Movie Possibly Shows Halo's Mantis Vehicle

20th Century has released new Dolby and IMAX posters for its video game movie Free Guy starring Ryan Reynolds, and one of them contains what looks like a special nod to Halo.

In the background of the Dolby poster, what appears to be a Mantis from Halo is clearly visible. Xbox and 20th Century are already working together on Free Guy promos, so it’s not a surprise to see a Halo vehicle show up in the poster (and potentially the movie, too).Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Additionally, the Free Guy Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday night featured Halo’s iconic Warthog vehicle, with Reynolds posing next to it in one of the shots.

Studios Weren't Interested in John Wick At First

It’s not hard to see how much the cinematic landscape has changed in the last 15 years. Record-breaking comic book movies dominate the box office, punctuated by the occasional Fast and Furious film. Keanu Reeves’ John Wick is a huge property now, but it took a Fantastic Fest viewing to get executives excited about a small, low-budget action film with spartan VFX and a dense mythology, according to co-director David Leitch in an interview with Deadline.

“For [co-director Chad Stahelski] and I, [John Wick] was a struggle financially,” Leitch said. “We were first-time directors, co-directing, but we were very cohesive in our vision of what we wanted. I think that we just knew with all the restrictions we had, we wanted to get real good material every day and stay true to the character and get the great performance out of Keanu, and just keep focused on that. Because at that financial level, for all the things that we wanted to do in our minds, we’d had second unit budgets that were bigger than this production’s budget and so our appetite was always to pushing the box out. We got the movie cut and edited, and we had a great editor who helped us carve out the story.”Come from Sports betting site VPbet

“We presented that movie to the buyers and…” Leitch began.

“Nobody bought it,” said Kelly McCormick, co-producer with Leitch on the upcoming action film Nobody and at their production company, 87North. The team finished the movie in early summer, and the studio wasn’t willing to hold it for the Toronto International Film Festival’s Midnight Madness showing, McCormick explained. Junior executives would see the movie and show interest, but not enough.

“[Lionsgate] took it to Fantastic Fest, and they went through the roof for it, bonkers, and then they were like, I think we’re onto something,” McCormick said.

“That’s where things changed,” Leitch continued. “The first night we screened it, it was the first real screening we had. Test screenings had gone well, great for a movie like this, but this was like the first real screening at a festival, and it went crazy.”

Deadline’s interview with the pair is lengthy. Leitch and McCormick discuss Nobody, Bob Odenkirk’s intense focus on training–something he has in common with John Wick star Keanu Reeves–as well as Odenkirk’s personal connection to the subject matter, as well as the upcoming crime thriller Bullet Train, which is the first film to shoot on Sony’s lot in almost a decade.

Nobody hits theaters (and only theaters) today, March 26, 2021. John Wick 4 is currently set to release next year on May 27, 2022.
