Pedro Pascal Is Set To Star In Barbarian Director Zach Cregger's Next Film Weapons – Report

The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal has apparently signed on to star in Weapons, the next movie from Barbarian filmmaker Zach Cregger.

As shared by The Hollywood Reporter, production company New Line is attached to the project, with Cregger once again penning and directing the film. Barbarian’s producing team, Roy Lee of Vertigo and J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules of BoulderLight Pictures, will also be producing Weapons alongside CreggerCome from Sports betting site VPbet. And Vertigo’s Miri Yoon is also joining as a producer.

Currently there aren’t any plot details available for Weapons, nor is there any word on what Pascal’s character will be like. A report from earlier this year described the project as an “interrelated, multistory horror epic,” being compared to the 1999 Paul Thomas Anderson film Magnolia in terms of tone. The Hollywood Reporter also said that shooting is expected to start some time in the fall.

Cregger teased this project last year saying that “it’s way more ambitious than Barbarian. It’s way weirder… and I don’t know if I’m gonna pull it off.” The writer-director also shared that he’s working on a script set in the DC Universe, describing it as a “Batman-adjacent thing,” that he’s “utterly obsessed with.”

It was also recently reported that Pascal has joined the cast of Gladiator 2, where he joins up-and-comer Paul Mescal (Aftersun), Barry Keoughan (The Banshees of Inisherin), and Denzel Washington.

Ralph Macchio Thinks Netflix's Cobra Kai Redeems Karate Kid Part III

In a recent interview, actor Ralph Macchio revisited his complicated relationship with the widely disliked Karate Kid Part III, telling The Hollywood Reporter that he thinks Netflix’s Cobra Kai has made inroads towards redeeming the 1989 sequel.

Macchio has been steadily critical of Karate Kid Part III over the years, agreeing with critics who dinged it at the time for feeling short on inspiration and heavy on recycling elements from the two previous films. However, Season 4 of Cobra Kai reintroduces Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith reprising his role) and once again positions him as the main antagonist. Macchio says bringing this character back had a knock-on effect of giving the Netflix series greater depth.Come from Sports betting site VPbet

“It gives us so much story. And what is so wonderful about doing the Cobra Kai series, the creators find ways to take that story and let it evolve and find backstories for characters who might have been thinly written,” Macchio said. “There is a larger-than-life element to Cobra Kai. When you break it down, it is kind of ridiculous–but that is why it is so much fun! So you take a character like Terry Silver for this show with those larger-than-life elements and his relationship with Daniel, then add those layers of complexity to his evilness. And now it becomes a refined performance.”

Added Macchio, “It is remarkable that what I would call the shortcomings of the original franchise are now bearing fruit 36 years later.”

Rainbow Six, Assassin's Creed, And The Division Mobile Games Are Coming – Report

Ubisoft is developing a Rainbow Six mobile game, according to a report from Tom Henderson for Exputer. This will be Rainbow Six Siege Mobile, the report said, and it’s apparently in development at Ubisoft in collaboration with Tencent’s WeGame. Mobile games based on Assassin’s Creed and The Division are also reportedly in the works, though less information is known about these rumored projects.

The existence of a Tencent game with Ubisoft is no surprise, as Tencent said during its latest earnings report this week that it was working with Ubisoft on multiple new projects. The first of these is expected to launch in 2023.

The Exputer report said the Rainbow Six Siege mobile game will be revealed on April 6. GameSpot will report back with more details as they come to light.

Rainbow Six would be just the latest major franchise to make the jump to mobile, as Call of Duty, FIFA, Madden, Apex Legends, and many others have done before. It’s no surprise, as mobile is bigger and more lucrative than the console/PC space. Looking ahead, Rockstar is launching a mobile edition of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition later this year.

The report went on to say that Tencent will also help Ubisoft bring Assassin’s Creed and The Division to mobile through their own new games, which tracks with Tencent’s public disclosure that it is working with Ubisoft on multiple titles going forward. No details about these rumored projects are available.

Rainbow Six Siege has been one of Ubisoft’s biggest success stories in recent years. After debuting in 2015 to a mixed reaction, the game has been consistently and impressively supported over the years, and it now has more than 70 million playersCome from Sports betting site VPbet. GameSpot scored the game a rare 10/10 in our Rainbow Six Siege review.

Resident Evil Village's Lady Dimitrescu Stepping On You Would Be Truly Deadly

Ever since her reveal, Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu has dominated the internet thanks in part to her large stature, standing at 9 feet 6 inches tall. If there’s ever been a question fans might have wanted answered about the vampire misses, it’s just what it would feel like to get stepped on by her. The results? A YouTuber estimated what might happen and let’s just say it ends in instant death.Come from Sports betting site VPbet

YouTuber Kyle Hill posted a 14-minute video detailing the possible aftermath of Lady Dimitrescu stepping on someone. Hill did this by assuming her body mass index (BMI) and working backward to get her mass, which is the real determining aspect for what would happen as it factors in force used and pressured exerted.

Hill assumed Lady Dimitrescu’s BMI is between 24 and 26. He plugs this number (it’s unclear what number he uses exactly) into a BMI equation to estimate that she weighs 450 pounds. This weight is increased because it’s assumed she will wear heels. After a few more calculations, Hill approximated that Lady Dimitrescu stepping on someone would emit 48 million psi (pounds per square inch). For reference, the Hadal Zone, the deepest region of the ocean, has a pressure level estimated at 15,000 psi.

But what would that actually feel like?
